What is GoTuk?
GoTuk allows you to quickly and easily book tuk tuk rides through your smartphone in just a few clicks.
How do I create an account?
Enter your email address, phone number, and password. You will then receive an SMS
with a code to confirm your phone number. Alternatively, you can log in directly using
your Google or Facebook account.
What are the operating hours?
Our tuk-tuks operate every day of the week from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Are tuk-tuk tours available all year round?
Yes, our tuk-tuk tours operate year-round. However, in case of extreme weather conditions, tours may be postponed or canceled for passenger safety.
Are tours available in different languages?
Yes, our guides are multilingual, and tours can be conducted in different languages,
which you can choose during the booking process, subject to availability.
How do I book a Tuk Tuk?
First of all, choose one of the options GoNow (today) or Book Tour (days
following). Then choose which tour you want to do, enter the number of people and the date and time you want, and you will be directed to payment and booking. You will then receive confirmation of your booking.
How do I book in advance?
The app allows you to book in advance using the Book Tour option, subject to availability.
I haven't received a booking confirmation.
If you don't receive your booking confirmation by email, it will always be available in the app. Please contact us via the Support Ticket contact form or via email at [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Do I need to print a receipt to present on the day of the tour?
All you have to do is show the tour guide the identification document that corresponds to the booking you made, as well as the booking number you receive after confirmation.
How long does a typical Tuk Tuk tour last?
Depending on the tour, it can take between 1 and 2.30 hours.
I need to change my reservation.

Are the prices per group or per person?
The prices on our website are per vehicle. To determine how many tuk tuks
you will need, and therefore how much you will pay, you need to consider how many people
will take part in the tour and the capacity of the vehicle. For example, in Lisbon the tuk tuks
have a capacity of up to 6 people, this means that if your group comprises
for more than this amount it will be necessary to reserve the corresponding number of
vehicles. You can find capacity information next to the tour duration.
Do I have to pay any extra fees or taxes on top of the price?
The booking fee will be charged at the time of booking, the final payment of the tour must
be made at the end of the tour to the Guide himself. In addition to the above, we do not charge
any additional fees.
How can I cancel my reservation and request a refund?
Cancellations must always be requested via our Support Ticket contact form or by emailing [email protected] no later than 48 hours before the scheduled time of the tour. Refunds can only be made once this advance notice has been given.
Refunds will not be given for cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice or withdrawals without notice.
Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Mbway, Paypal or debit card payments.
What should I bring for the tour?
There are no mandatory items, but we recommend bringing comfortable clothing suitable for the weather forecast, a water bottle, and, of course, your camera, mobile phone with free memory, and a selfie stick to capture the best moments of the tour.
Do the tuk-tuks have removable covers?
Yes, our tuk-tuks have removable covers, making them adaptable to weather
conditions.
Are your tuk-tuks electric?
When making a reservation, you have the option to choose the type of tuk-tuk you
want: gas or electric. Most of our tuk-tuks are 100% electric, sustainable, and silent.
Is there a maximum number of passengers for a tuk-tuk tour?
Yes, depending on the type of tuk-tuk, it can carry 1 to 6 passengers, subject to availability.
Is there an age restriction for tuk-tuk rides?
Yes, the minimum age is 2 years old.
Can elderly people with walkers or wheelchairs be transported?
No.
Are tuk-tuk tours accessible for people with disabilities?
We do our best to accommodate all our customers. However, due to the nature of tuk-
tuks, there may be limitations for people with certain disabilities. We recommend

Are pets allowed on tuk-tuk tours?
Small pets may be allowed on tuk-tuk tours, provided they are properly transported.

How can I recognize my driver?
Each tour has a designated meeting point.
You can contact the driver 15 minutes before the scheduled time through the app's chat
or a direct call to the driver or vice versa (phone numbers are not visible).
Are the drivers also guides?
Yes, the drivers are also guides. We ensure that our guides/drivers will make you feel like a true Lisbon local by sharing information only locals know.
What are the pick-up and drop-off points?
Pick-up and drop-off points depend on the tour. You can check the specific meeting point for each tour on the tour page.
Is insurance included?
Yes, mandatory insurance is covered.
What if I forget something in the tuk-tuk?

Yes, wearing a seatbelt is mandatory.
Will there be a tuk-tuk ride in bad weather?
The safety of our customers is our top priority. In case of bad weather, such as heavy rain or storms, tours may be postponed or canceled. However, the tuk-tuks are equipped with rain covers, and tours generally continue in light rain.

After each tour, you can rate the guide with a score from 0 to 5 stars and leave a comment. Your feedback helps us improve the service and recognize the best guides.
